I had quite a lovely Christmas and New Year holiday. I finished school halfway through December and proceeded to relax, which then turned into major relaxation when I went away for two weeks with my fiance and his family. They shouted us a trip to Hawaii for five days (always a winner!), then we spent about eight days in Sydney and watched the New Year celebrations and fireworks from our hotel room.
There was a lot of wandering around, aimlessly, seeing the sights and not having anywhere in particular to be. While in Sydney, I went to the Sydney Museum of Art to see the Picasso exhibition, which was quite extensive and very interesting. And I took a lot of photos on my iPhone, not so many on my DSLR as I only took my cheap lenses so as not to damage my good ones, and they were just not up to standard, so I didn't have as much fun with that as I did with the iPhone processing application; 'Super Retro', which is AWESOME!
This is some of my Hawaii and Sydney, 2011-12 iPhoneography:
